Dave Lujan recently retired from the USAF as a Colonel. He is a senior executive leader with 27 years of international experience crafting teams to successfully resolve complex challenges. Combining a profound technical background with a high impact and energetic management competency, Colonel Lujan possesses a diverse distinguished record of success in combat aerospace operations, operational test and weapons system development, strategic planning, resource management, and international affairs. A motivated professional tested under fire, he offers impeccable integrity, relationship building acumen, and polished communications skills to advance interests in today’s complex global security environment. He has both an extensive background in leading large and small organizations and an understanding of the challenges of leadership in complex human environments.

Colonel Lujan has commanded in a variety of positions in the United States and overseas. His last position in the Air Force was as the Inspector General for Air Combat Command’s Readiness Division, where he commanded a team that ensured combat readiness and adherence to public law for all tactical fighter and bomber units in the United States.

Colonel Lujan is a graduate of the prestigious United States Air Force Weapons School and served as instructor cadre at the same Weapons School. He commanded the 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron and served as Deputy Commander, 56th Operations Group, Luke AFB, AZ. In addition, he forward deployed to Iraq as 332d Expeditionary Operations Group Deputy Commander during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in 2008. Following this assignment, he served as the Commander, 332d Expeditionary Operations Group, Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Under his command was the largest and most diverse combat operations organization in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.

Colonel Lujan is a command pilot with more than 4,600 fighter flying hours, including over 750 combat hours in support of Operations DESERT STORM, NORTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
